Estimación de parámetros de Cole-Cole con el análisis de impedancia bioeléctrica multifrecuencia en pacientes adultos con cáncer de pulmón recientemente diagnosticados

Resumen

Introducción: El análisis de impedancia bioeléctrica se usa para la evaluación y seguimiento de pacientes con cáncer.

Objetivo: Estimar parámetros bioeléctricos corporales obtenidos a partir de la función de distribución Cole-Cole con el análisis de la impedancia bioeléctrica multifrecuencia en pacientes con cáncer de pulmón recientemente diagnosticados.

Métodos: Se llevó a cabo un estudio piloto, prospectivo y transversal para medir los parámetros bioeléctricos con análisis de impedancia bioeléctrica multifrecuencia (a 5; 50; 100 y 200 kHz) en 23 pacientes adultos con cáncer de pulmón de reciente diagnóstico. Se utilizó la función de distribución Cole-Cole para estimar la resistencia eléctrica, la reactancia capacitiva y el módulo de impedancia entre 100 Hz y 10 GHz.

Resultados: Se observaron diferencias entre los datos simulados y experimentales (módulo de impedancia eléctrica > 10 Ω) en siete pacientes con cáncer de pulmón a 100 y 200 kHz. La función de distribución Cole-Cole subestimó datos experimentales en la mayoría de estos pacientes a 5; 50 y 100 kHz, no así a 200 kHz. La resistencia intracelular fue mayor que la extracelular en todos ellos, en contraste con la fisiología. Además, la capacitancia celular de la membrana celular en cada paciente con cáncer de pulmón aumentó con respecto a la de los sujetos aparentemente sanos.

Conclusiones: El análisis de impedancia bioeléctrica revela comportamientos anómalos de parámetros bioeléctricos en cada paciente adulto con cáncer de pulmón de reciente diagnóstico para frecuencias mayores a la característica. Estos comportamientos pueden ser descritos con funciones de distribución Cole-Cole (para 0 < α < 1) u otras.
