Abstract

Organizada por el Comité Territorial Cubano de la Comisión Internacional de Óptica (ICO), y por la Sociedad Cubana de Física, y dedicada al Año Internacional de la Luz y las Tecnologías Basadas en la Luz (IYL 2015), la Conferencia Internacional de Óptica, Fotónica y Fotociencias (CIOFF), tuvo lugar en el Hotel Nacional de Cuba, en La Habana, Cuba, del 14 al 17 de Octubre, 2014. Con la proclamación de un Año Internacional enfocado en el tema de la ciencia de la luz y sus aplicaciones, los Naciones Unidas han reconocido la importancia de elevar el conocimiento científico y las tecnologías que se basan en la luz, como elementos fundamentales para la promoción del desarrollo sostenible, proporcionando importantes soluciones a los desafíos de este siglo en áreas como la energía, la educación, la agricultura y la salud.

The journal Anales de la Academia de Ciencias de Cuba protects copyright, and operates with a Creative Commons License 4.0 (Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial License 4.0).
