Methodology for the insertion of a pharmaceutical R&D project into the Eurasian Economic Union

Introduction: The Eurasian Economic Union emerges as a promising option for the expansion of the Cuban biopharmaceutical industry, taking advantage of the status of observer country in this economic block.
Objective: To design and apply a methodology for the management of the pharmaceutical R&D project CIDEM-113, focused on the insertion in the Skolkovo Technology Park of Russia.
Methods: The methods used were documentary analysis, action-research and experimental to verify in practice the feasibility of the methodology elaborated as part of the design. The independent variables were the Portfolio Management Methodology and the Strategic Alliances and the dependent variable was insertion in the Eurasian pharmaceutical market.
Results: It contributed to the establishment of a methodology that allowed the insertion of the CIDEM-113 project in the Skolkovo Innovation Center, contributing to the expansion of Cuban pharmaceutical research in the Eurasian market and the establishment of strategic alliances for the development of innovative products for Parkinson's disease, taking advantage of the infrastructure and the innovation ecosystem of the technological park.
Conclusions: The methodology for the management of the pharmaceutical R&D project CIDEM-113 was novel and emphasizes the creation of strategic alliances to facilitate insertion in the Eurasian market.
