Estadística Aplicada y Medio Ambiente: una compilación de resultados científicos en los últimos 20 años en Camagüey

Abstract

Se presentan resultados obtenidos a partir de 1995 desde la dirección de la Unidad de Medio Ambiente de la Delegación Provincial del Ministerio de Ciencia, Tecnología y Medio Ambiente (CITMA) en la provincia de Camagüey y desde la actividad de I+D+I en el Centro de Investigaciones de Medio Ambiente de Camagüey (CIMAC). Se muestra cómo la aplicación de diferentes herramientas de gestión contribuye al mejoramiento de la calidad ambiental. Se presentan en particular las herramientas y los indicadores ambientales para la protección del medio ambiente, mostrando la estrategia de la provincia de Camagüey en diferentes ciclos y resultados importantes obtenidos en la cuenca del Río Máximo y en otras cuencas de interés de la provincia. 20 años de ininterrumpido accionar muestran hoy resultados tangibles de impactos positivos en las zonas intervenidas.
