Homenaje a Violeta
Abstract
Recientemente ha fallecido esta destacada mujer científica cubana.Autora de unos de los Premios de la Academia de Ciencias de Cuba en el año
2004 y Premio “Sofia Kovalievskaia” del 2005, por su trabajo: Desarrollo de
una vacuna conjugada contra el Haemophilus influenzae tipo b, a partir de
un antígeno sintético.
La Revista Anales, por solicitud de su Presidente, y a propuesta de la
Dra. Elena Vigil, comparte con la comunidad académica y científica en general
el dolor por esta lamentable pérdida.
Publicamos en esta ocasión un texto de su esposo y compañero de
investigación de toda la vida el Dr. Vicente Verez Bencomo, Académico de
Mérito de la Academia de Ciencias de Cuba. Nadie mejor que él para
comunicarnos quién fue Violeta.

The journal Anales de la Academia de Ciencias de Cuba protects copyright, and operates with a Creative Commons License 4.0 (Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial License 4.0).
