Profesor DrCs. Ernesto de la Torre Montejo (1929-2016)
Abstract
El Dr.C.. Ernesto de la Torre Montejo, nació en Camagüey, el 11 de febrero de 1929. Graduado como médico en la Universidad de La Habana, en 1954, se incorporó rápidamente a la lucha clandestina contra la dictadura batistiana. Realizó estudios de Postgrado en la especialidad de Pediatría en el Hospital Cook County, en Chicago, Illinois, EEUU, que concluyó en 1957. En ese mismo Hospital realizó también entrenamientos cortos en Anatomía Patológica y Hematología. Desde 1957 hasta 1959 fue Secretario de la Filial de Chicago del Directorio Revolucionario. Al triunfo de la Revolución, integró las Milicias Médicas Revolucionarias desde sus inicios.Downloads
