De frente a los retos de la Tercera Revolución en la Biología
Abstract
Se presentan las oportunidades y retos que nuestra ciencia deberá enfrentar para insertarse en la Tercera Revolución en la Biología, en pleno desarrollo y así mantener la destacada posición que han adquirido la Biotecnología y la Medicina cubanas. Las regularidades de esta revolución así como su impacto en la sociedad que trascienden las ciencias de la vida misma son esbozadas. El papel de la interrelación de las Universidades con los centros científicos y la necesidad de una política científica real, coherente y dinámica se resaltan. Se concluye que en tenemos condiciones para enfrentar este nuevo desafío sin embargo esta oportunidad podría desaprovecharse de no actuarse, o de hacerlo lenta y parcialmente con las consiguientes consecuencias para la ciencia y la sociedad cubanas.Downloads
