PEDRO MARINO PRUNA GOODGALL (1943-2017)
Abstract
El pasado 10 de noviembre de 2017 falleció en La Habana el Profesor Pedro Marino Pruna Goodgall, Doctor en Ciencias, Académico Titular de la Academia de Ciencias de Cuba y Vicepresidente-fundador de la Sociedad Cubana de Historia de la Ciencia y la Tecnología. Había nacido el 2 de noviembre de 1943 en la ciudad de Sancti Spíritus. Es verdaderamente valioso el legado del Dr. Pruna como investigador y divulgador en el campo de la historia de la ciencia en Cuba, y en cuanto a la historia de la teoría de la evolución y del movimiento evolucionista. Brindó cursos y conferencias en una decena de países y publicó numerosos artículos y libros en su país y en el extranjero. Se le debe la fundación y dirección de un reconocido grupo de trabajo dedicado principalmente a la investigación histórica de la ciencia y la tecnología en Cuba.Downloads
