Abstract

The growing threat of COVID-19 and its consequences on mental health has required the implementation of actions for the psychological support of the population in this moment of crisis. This study describes the actions developed by the University Welfare Center to achieve this goal. An action-research methodology was assumed. The use of telepsychology allowed for the integration of intervention actions such as the psychological help line, self-help bulletins, mobile device applications for psychological orientation and information in the communication media. The results obtained so far have made it possible to meet the needs of the population and vulnerable groups. It is recommended to maintain the integration of these actions and evaluate their effectiveness and impact.
