Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.- The author has reviewed and completed the Open Science Practices Compliance Form and uploads it as a supplemental file to his submission.
- The text meets all the requirements that appear in the “Guidelines for authors” found in “About the journal”.
- All authors are aware of their ethical responsibility, including that with the validity and legitimacy of the data, and with the obligation to provide retractions or corrections of errors, if any.
- Write in the "Comments to the editor" section a short ABSTRACT, with no more than 50 words, where the author/s explain the greatest value of your research. If the manuscript is an Academy Award winner, declare it in this space with the Award Number.
Letter to the Editor
This section will publish letters that reflect readers opinions, messages, and comments about works published in the journal or about a topic of national or international relevance. In the case of a comment on an article published in the journal, the title, volume and number where the article was published must be specified. To be published, they must comply with the ethical principles of scientific publication. Its length will not exceed 1,500 words, including bibliographical references. It will not exceed 3 authors. It can include up to one illustration (figure or table).
Papers that do not meet these conditions will be immediately rejected.Agricultural and Fishery Sciences
Original research articles, short communications and review articles are published in this section on the following topics: phytopathology, pathophysiology, molecular biology, animal health, agricultural biotechnology, aquaculture, veterinary immunology, veterinary vaccines, animal genetics, evaluation of pastures and forages and agro-energy, phylogenetic resources and crop improvement, biofertilizers and integral systems of plant nutrition, soil-irrigation and drainage-agrarian extension, veterinary sciences, animal genetic improvement, animal nutrition, management of milk production systems, etc.

Technical Sciences
Original research articles, short communications and review articles are published in this section on the following topics: solar energy, ferrous metallurgy, development of new materials, signal processing and pattern recognition, technological applications, mining and mineral processing, mechanical engineering, architecture and urbanism, automation, electrical systems, computing, artificial intelligence, optimization, construction, modeling of engineering problems, industrial engineering, telecommunications systems and devices, physical planning (land planning and urbanism), energy, electronics and microelectronics , etc.

The journal Anales de la Academia de Ciencias de Cuba protects copyright, and operates with a Creative Commons License 4.0 (Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial License 4.0). By publishing in it, authors allow themselves to copy, reproduce, distribute, publicly communicate their work and generate derivative works, as long as the original author is cited and acknowledged. They do not allow, however, the use of the original work for commercial or lucrative purposes.
