The question, what can science achieve during pandemics? Is relevant and necessary today. COVID-19 is a unique case study to answer this question, due to its novelty and impact worldwide. The journal Anales de la Academia de Ciencias de Cuba protects copyright, and operates with a Creative Commons License 4.0 (Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial License 4.0).
